Hello friends, this Debra Morrison here with Women Navigating Finances, and I’m launching my Find Money Challenge on Friday. Yep. It is going to be five consecutive days of me lobbing over dozens of find money hacks. Some of them are so painfully obvious, and yet sometimes we’re not doing what’s right in front of our face.
So I’m going to give you one right now. Well, a few right now because that’s how I roll. And these involve discounts that you may be eligible for on your car insurance. Now this varies with carriers, I quite understand that, but my carrier USAA offers discounts if your car has antilock breaks, the club device to lock the steering wheel alarm with or without a battery backup, the VIN number etched on your Windows vehicle recovery system, yet you have to have an active subscription of course, daytime running Lights (boy, that was a new one to me), and airbags, any number of them will give you a very handsome discount, as I say, at least with USAA.
Some of you may have changed vehicles and you may or may not have updated your car insurance for, you didn’t know it in the first place.
