You know that $9 per month charge you've been meaning to call and cancel? Well, that $9 per month over 12 months adds up! Check your credit card and bank statements for all monthly recurring charges. Observe what you are no longer (or rarely) using and delete the things you no longer use.
Check with your bank regarding the requirements to eliminate monthly service charges. Several banks offer this when you (1) use a debit card at least once a month, (2) bundle your accounts together to meet minimum monthly balances. Remember, all you've got to do is ASK.

My husband past away about 5 months ago and I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do about my future. Debra's seminar was in plain English so I totally understood what she was talking about because I was really intimated by the stock market. When I left there, I felt a lot better about what I was going to do in the future. Then I met one-on-one with Debra and helped me realize I was in a lot better position than I actually thought I was.

I attended Debra's workshop and found it to be empowering. She didn't talk above my head like the financial planner I currently have. I would recommend this to anybody, not just widows.
Thank you Debra.

Debra has been so helpful to me in breaking down what I saw as this big daunting task of trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do with my finances. I just want to tell you that I got solid advice and practical things I can put into practice now and I'm so appreciative of the time she spent with me helping me understanding what I need to do in the next year to get my finances in order.

This is the very first time listening to Debra's talk that she gave me a sense of empowerment, I feel inspired that I can actually change the way I think about this whole world of my financial situation and I definitely highly recommend her. She gives the best slides, the best information and does it in a very engaging, easy-to-understand way.
As someone who is looking to embrace my new world of understanding my financial situation, Debra has inspired me to do that in a way that no one else has.
